Guest Books

Wedding guest books are traditionally a slim, white leather, rectangular shaped, book that have lined pages for the guests to simply record their name on.

Pffffft.

We've come a long way since then! These days, most bride and grooms make their guest book a little more personal, incorporating more of themselves and their relationship into the design of the guestbook... and the guestbook itself isn't necessarily a book! Here are some of my favortite:

Molly & Junior used Blurb.com to create a guest book out the engagement photos we did!

Julianne and Steve had one of their engagement photos blown up, with backing, put it in an awesome old wood frame, had had guests sign directly on the photo!

Catherine and Dylan also used Blurb.com to create a photo book. The quality was flawless!

And then there's this one! My sister made it for my cousin's wedding and it was A-MAZ-ING!

I've also seen a lot of cool ideas, like a tree graphic and people leave their thumbprints as the leaves! And of course there's the ever popular photo-booth, or having a large photo matte for guests to sign. So many creative alternatives to the old fashion guestbook.... what's your favorite?
