Nancy + Marcus | Portland Engagement Session

Marcus is from California but came up to Oregon for college where he met local girl Nancy. He hadn't been planning on making Oregon his home but it's amazing how love can change a mind... :)

When I got these first few photos in the first 30 seconds of testing the lighting and getting my camera set, I knew it was going to be a great session! I guess they forgot to tell me they're both super models. 

 I've known Nancy since high school... she was this gorgeous even then. Not fair, I know. :)

 One of the things that these two have in common is that they are both fierce sports fans. So for our last few photos, Nancy and Marcus switched into a more casual outfit, t-shirts to represent their favorite basketball teams. Notice how I said "teams" and not "their favorite TEAM". Because Nancy and Marcus absolutely do NOT have the same favorite team. Nancy cheers for the Celtics, Marcus for the Lakers, which often results in days of silence I'm told... but even Boston and LA's rivalry isn't enough to keep these love birds apart. For long. ;-) Love really does conquer all.

Nancy, it was so good to see you again and to meet the man who is your happy ever after. I wish you all the best in your life together!
