Trek & His Parents | Portland Family Portraits

Trek is 2-years-old. And I think it's safe to say that he is EVERY bit a 2-year-old. Which means he is ridiculously adorable... and not always going to do exactly what you want him to do. :) But that's okay! Because even when he's being shy and not wanting to look at the camera, it still makes for a good photograph! 

Like this one... you can see anyone's face but you can still see so much...

This is Mr. Giraffe who ended acting as my assistant and was a huge help with getting Trek to look at the camera! I would ask him if Mr. Giraffe could take a picture and then I would hold him above my camera and Trek would smile right at him! So a big thank you to Mr. Giraffe! :)

It took Trek about 10 minutes or so to warm up to me, and after that he was all smiles and cuteness!!!

It never fails to surprise me how many new locations I can find to take pictures just by wandering around McMenamins Edgefield! Love this place!

Trek has one of the most expressive faces I have ever seen! Just look at this look he's giving me!

I like to get an individual headshot of everyone and when I asked Rhonda for one of just her, she called it a "passport photo"! I might start referring to them as that but I like to think they turn out a little better then any 'ol passport photo! :)

Trek must have learned how to smile from them.

Trek took this picture of his mom and dad! A little out of focus but maybe that's what he intended! :)

Then we headed over to a playground so that we could get a couple of pictures with their dog, Roosevelt! And no trip to a playground would be complete without some swinging!

Rhonda and Andrew, thank you so SO much for such a fun session! You guys are awesome and I literally could have kept shooting all day! Happy almost birthday to Trek! :)
