Point and Shoots.
Happy New Year!
Over the holidays, I used my boyfriend's point-and-shoot camera, a Sony Cyber-Shot. I loved that it fit in my pocket and I could have access to it so easily without carrying around my much bulkier and heavier dslr all the time. I had forgotten how simple and easy those little cameras are to use and was loving using it! BUT... then I uploaded the photos onto my computer and the was reminded of the quality (see above picture). JPEG files from the Sony, even at 8 mega pixels, just can't compare to RAW files off of my Nikon D40. The convience of those little point-and-shoots is nice, but I think I'm going to stick with my dslr. :-)
